Although, jet-skiing is a fun water sport, there are also dangers involved with the sport. Even the slowest jet-skis can reach speeds of over 80 km/hour.

The causes of most jet-ski accidents and injuries are due to the following:

  1. Young or inexperienced drivers
  2. Speeding or reckless driving
  3. Loss of control
  4. Lack of concentration
  5. Inadequate safety gear
  6. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Always, wear a life jacket and follow speed limits. Keep a close eye on your surroundings, especially in high traffic areas.
