When I was struck by a car in Charlotte, NC, USA, on December 7, 2021, the driver left the scene and left me laying on the road in traffic. The police were not able to find the culprit, chances are they didn't have insurance anyway. I assumed I was on my own with no recourse. In the hit and run accident my left hip was crushed and my femur was broken. I also sustained 6 very badly broken ribs on my left side and multiple deep cuts and bruises. I underwent emergency surgery to replace my hip and they replaced my left femur with a titanium rod. I had medical insurance that covered my hospital bills for the most part, while not totally. I ended up having to solicit the services of a law firm to try to assist me in finding the person who hit me and fled the scene. They investigated and could not find the person. I understand people are in the business to make money, but there is also a legal, moral and ethical responsibility to clients. They failed my mother, however, Tina and her team never failed me. I really cannot articulate my appreciation for all of Tina’s support and guidance, sincerely. My only wish is that I had met her sooner.
