Attention – Recall of Igloo Cooler

Health Canada is recalling an Igloo cooler due to reports of significant finger injuries, in some cases causing finger amputation.

The specific cooler in question is a 90-Quart Flip and Tow Rolling cooler (below). The tow handle can pinch and crush fingers, leading to potential amputations.

As of February 3, 2025, there have been no injuries reported in Canada. However, 12 have been reported in the US, including fingertip amputations, bone fractures, and/or lacerations.

Consumers should stop using the coolers immediately. More information is available on Igloo’s recall website.
